The strength and naturally aesthetic appearance of white fillings has significantly improved over recent years. Our dentists undergo continued further education and training and we have invested in specialist equipment and materials so that we can provide stronger and more natural-looking fillings.

White fillings start from £85.

Inlays and Onlays

It may not always not be possible to place a traditional filling as either there is not be enough remaining tooth to adhere the new material to, or there is a particularly heavy bite that requires a stronger material to withstand the force.

An inlay, or onlay, requires 2 dental visits. At the first the dentist will shape the remaining tooth into a suitable shape and size and take a mould to send to the dental lab. Using the mould as a template, the lab will then shape and contour a solid piece of ceramic or porcelain material to fit exactly into the remaining tooth.  At the second dental visit , the inlay or onlay should slot directly in place and the dentist will cement it in permanently.

The difference between an inlay and onlay is that an inlay fills the gaps in between the cusps of the tooth, whereas an onlay will also cover the cusps.

Inlay/onlay starts from £585
